Very slow service, the server looked like she had way too many tables. It took 10 minutes to get a drink order, they were out of the drink I ordered, they were out of diet soda, ordered a beer didn’t get it until after I finished my meal. Food was ok but nothing special

We enjoy the unique tacos. Mostly order to-go and have only rarely had an issue. Eating in, the booths don't really accommodate bigger people, and the host/hostess always seems to seat our party there (caused a very awkward situation the last time we dined-in).

Tacos were great as usual, and I understand prices have gone up. However, I ordered a gingerale to drink and was given a single short can for the same $4 that a normal foundation drink runs (and comes with refills I believe). I was stunned when the server set it on the table, unopened, with no glass of ice. Ridiculous lesson learned.

After working in the bar and restaurant industry for over 7 years, I understand how important it is to build a connection with guests. That connection is what brings people back. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the experience here. This place definitely benefits from being a one-stop spot next to the Improv, but it felt very much like a “one visit and done” kind of place for me. I have a lot of grace for restaurant workers because I know firsthand how demanding the job can be. But the lack of ownership and attention to customers was pretty shocking. Our bartenders essentially ignored our side of the bar. Instead of engaging with guests, they were texting and loudly complaining about other places they had quit without notice. Everyone has bad days, and I truly get that — but this didn’t feel like a bad day. It felt like a lack of care for the job and the guests sitting right in front of them. I’m glad I gave it a try, but I’m equally glad I know to pick a different spot next time we’re at a show at the Improv.

This place just keeps going downhill. The margaritas have become a joke, the pitchers even worse. I mean if you enjoy all ice than maybe they are for you. The chips can be great however our waitress literally brought us a bowl in which more than half were little broken pieces. Never brought a refill even though we asked. The sauces are great though. The shrimp taco was the best, the pig was not like it used to be and the carnitas was show leather. The rice was good and beans under seasoned but mixing together was very good. When our waitress showed up we asked about specials and she said there are none. She raced off, when she came back I said I saw online a Friday special and she said oh that. She said that is our friday special. I had to pry it out of her to explain it 🤦‍♂️. All in all was just ok at best.
