For the past 5 years this location has been going down hill. The drive thru speaker is horrible, the staff can’t hear you and you can barely hear them. Yet the staff has an attitude with you asking for you to speak up like it’s our problem that their speaker is shot. Then if you go inside you just hear the more senior staff yell at the new hires while they are struggling to help a customer. No patience for training or coaching the new hires. No surprise they can’t keep employees. When you ask for a smoothie that’s on the menu, the proceed to give a shake even after confirming multiple times for a smoothie not a shake.

I just have to call out the great customer service. Another customer was walking out without their sundae and the employee ran out to make sure they got it.

We were on the road for a 2 hour ride. 3 of us were hungry. Dairy Queen would have satisfied all of us. We pulled up in the drive thru at 10:30ish- the sign said OPEN and the drive thru menu board was lit up. We waited a few minutes, but were not acknowledged. We pulled around to the window to see if the store was really open. We saw the headset on the counter with the lights blinking and a mop bucket. We could see a young lady sitting in a booth, she looked over at us and turned her back to us, took her pony tail out and started playing with her hair. As we drove out of the lot, we saw a young man with a DQ uniform on, standing in the lobby with the young lady and he watched us drive away. This is very disheartening to know that some people take such advantage of employers.

Submitted our online orders. Got to the DQ and it was closed. Went thru drive thru and they said they could not open....even though it was Monday at noon. What is up with that? They said they could not cancel the online order so they would have to heat up the grill and fryers. This took a long time and we were traveling and on a time schedule. Not happy with the wait but we had over $50 in online orders to wait for. Need to find a way to not take online orders if you are not going to be open to fulfill them.
