Dylan took the time to carefully explain my options for what I could purchase/eat given my gluten allergy and made sure the pizza he prepared for me was safe to eat. He also reviewed the allergen binder with me to confirm exactly what I could and couldn’t have based on my allergies. Throughout the entire interaction, he was professional, knowledgeable, and extremely patient. There was also a very friendly female employee, I didn't catch her name, who helped answer additional questions about food options. She was especially kind to my family, which included five adults and four children—so there were lots of plates and kids moving around. She remained patient and pleasant the entire time, even when my youngest held the door open for her but was really in her way as she was clearing plates. Thank you to Dylan and the other female employee for providing such excellent customer service. The buffet was fully stocked for a Sunday mid-afternoon, and the staff appeared to genuinely enjoy their jobs—they smiled often and created a welcoming atmosphere. The tables were clean, and the floors were safe and not slippery, despite the melting snow and slush outside. Overall, the customer service and cleanliness were excellent. At the Appleton location, it is unfortunate that individuals with medical dietary restrictions for gluten free must pay significantly more if they want to enjoy gluten sensitive pizza and the salad buffet in comparison to other Pizza Ranches in the state.
