Safeway has been around for over a hundred years. They always have great produce. They carry all of the usual items you would expect at a grocery store.

This is my favorite Safeway. The only drawback is it's a smaller Safeway (Woodland, WA) so the choices are a little more limited than one in Vancouver or Portland. It still has a very good selection, especially in the produce, plus it has a gas station and a pharmacy. The staff is quite amazing. Very small town feel while still being professional.

My Husband and I use to love getting a large fruit tart from the bakery here, recently a huge quality change happened to the crust and filling making them actually terrible comparatively to before. It was clearly a frozen premade tart and filling that was baked then covered in fruit, while before the crust was thicker and had raw sugar on the exterior and a chocolate coated interior with a thicker layer of unbaked cream filling and the fruit topping. Then they proceed to charge the same price for the quality dropped tarts, We won't be buying tarts from here again until something is fixed.

The people that work at Safeway are great. However, the glitches and issues with the app have pushed me away from Safeway to Walmart. No one knows how to fix anything or csn even attempt to help, this is especially true for the drive up and Go… and this day and age there’s really no room for excuses. Fix your drive up and go app or take it offline..I had to pay an extra 8.90 on my pickup order and no one can tell me why. Feels like a mega corporation just seeing what they can get away with because they are getting away with it…my order was well above the minimum there is no need for hidden charges and fees, Walmart wins the app and honesty wars I guess. *sigh*

Possibly the worst grocery store I've ever been to. Terrible customer service. There are a few good employees but most are horrible. I've had two cashiers arguing, literally yelling at one another through my wife and I checking out. Most of the cashiers are slower than molasses; it's like they're having a race to see who can go the slowest. Most of the time the self check out attendant is worse and not paying attention whatsoever. Shelf stockers will block the entire aisle and just stare at you like you're an idiot for needing to get by. I've waited at the deli for 10 minutes because the older lady working there was flirting with and old guy named Bob. She kept glancing at me like she was hoping if she kept flirting and ignoring my existence I'd leave (Bob wasn't getting anything from the deli just loving her flirting with him). The button for the liquor cabinet has been gone for 2 months, heard it was broken; so if you want to buy something you either walk to the deli and wait for them to call someone and it's a 50/50 shot if someone will actually show up or not or go to customer service. Hopefully your suspension can handle the parking lot as its riddled with pot holes. The only reason I ever go to this safeway is because its close but I always, without fail, regret walking in there. At this point its not worth the headache and aggravation anymore. I'd rather just use the extra fuel and time to go anywhere else.
