The store manager said they can't do anything if they say it's a service dog and that's just completely not true. The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) says that if an animal is being disruptive, even if it is a real service dog, you can ask them to leave if the behavior is not immediately corrected. The last three times I've come in shopping there's been this same stupid dog barking nonstop, I had to just leave without even finishing my shopping last time because it was giving me a migraine. The lady said it was a service dog in training, which isn't even covered by the ADA. The store manager needs to educate himself and let people enforce the service animal policies. I'm sure they're afraid of losing the fake service dog owners as customers, but I'm pretty sure they'll lose more letting them run loose. Also FYI, service animals don't ride in carts. They must have their feet on the ground at all times unless it's for detecting diabetes issues, in which case the owner can wear a sling with the dog.
