Only two exceptions are some older lady at the pharmacy, who obviously hates her job, who answers when I call lately, and the weird plainclothes loss prevention dude that is painfully obvious. -2 stars.

When did this become an optoin for Safeway??? The self-checkout is supposed to be for convenience, and this was the opposite and large carts of groceries should be done by Safeway, it's not a convenience store. If she hadn't been sick we would have left the cart there. The only clerk on staff was told she couldn't leave the self-checkout area so she could monitor theft. Poor management and even worse customer service. Unacceptable and cheap. Boo on you Washougal Safeway!!!!

- BVBrandon VincentMar 6, 20261.0Had a horrible experience with the store manager named Henry, was in the store at 1145 and I was trying to grab a few items for dinner when Henry came up to me and said they close in 30 seconds and to get up to the register now! Then when I got to the register he was angrily tapping his finger on the counter, I told him I didn't want to finish my transaction and that I was leaving and didn't appreciate his attitude. He then shouted and said "fine then don't shop here anymore your trespassing" ......I don't typically write reviews but this was absolutely uncalled for and I personally will be taking my business elsewhere until Henry is no longer running the show
