The attendant and manager were clearly overworked and stretched too thin, while customers were left doing the labor themselves. At the same time, Safeway’s prices remain higher than competitors like Walmart and WinCo, yet service and produce quality do not reflect that premium. This situation highlights that current staffing and operational decisions are creating negative experiences for both employees and customers and need urgent review.

It seems they forgot the size of the shopping carts. I can only imagine how difficult it's to manage getting around for people using the motorized carts. I suggest remove all the displays like candy and seasonal items that are in the middle of the aisles. Keep everything in their specific aisles.
