The one employee asked another before taking our order if they were still serving even though it was was way before closing I guess they were short handed and had a super busy dinner so I figured we would be okay actually just beating the dinner rush and then we wouldn't have to wait so long for our food. Granted this was about a year ago by the Vancouver Mall so things hopefully have changed since then!

The gentleman working the front counter was amazing and instantly recognized that I was a rookie. He walked me through the differences in all of their sizes and burgers so I knew what to order. He also forewarned me that the burgers came with nothing on them. Somewhere else I went yesterday didn’t give me the same courtesy, so that was a plus. And I also kind of like that the customer chooses what goes on the burger. This store is clean and I will definitely be back.

Why does Five Guys have peanuts for free?
Serving peanuts for free began as a way for people to pass the time while they waited for us to cook up their meals (way back in the day, before smartphones). It was such a hit, and has become such a Five Guys tradition, that we keep our stores stocked with peanuts to this day.

Leftover fries are excellent reheated in the oven (or Air Fryer). According to Chad Murrell, one of the Five Guys, just pop them in a 350-degree oven for about 10-15 minutes.
