I went to this Safeway Starbucks 3 times since I've moved close to this location. Everytime the drink I bought has been horrible. The last time I bought something from this Starbucks the lady started off saying that the blender is broken and hand mixed my drink. Yuck. Then she placed the drink down on the counter so I could grab it and it spilled all over myself, the floor and counter because she didn't properly place it down. She remade a drink for me but it was disgusting. Same lady, I was at the Starbucks a different time and she made it bad again. Different lady, was so busy talking to a different Safeway associate, line took forever and I was next in line. When she got the Safeway lady her drink she turned to the next in line, me, and was completely rude during the transaction. My drink was horrible tasting... This Safeway must not have properly trained their associates on how to make the drinks here because I won't be going back. I'd rather go down the road for the actual Starbucks and spend money there.

What type of work environment does this place have, where a crew of employees can be seen gathering at the customer service desk, chatting and laughing, on Monday morning?

They must get a lot of theives at this location. Self checkout guy was pretty agressive. Profile and stink eye with a little snarky. He actually positioned himself to block me as I checked out. As I was leaving, when I said thanks he said I was dismissed. I hope his boss reads this. I guess I should have shaved and wore some better clothes before I came in to get my sick friend some stuff to help him out.

I just walked out of your safeway from picking up my medication and purchasing some dryers sheets and juice and while I was doing so a woman who works there was watching me like I was gonna steal two big jugs of juice. I asked the man at the checkout for her name and acted like she he didn't know who I was talking about and they were just having a convo. It's sad as BLACK woman I get looked at like this when I'm spending my hard earn money here. She was huge and had on your attire but no one seems to know who she was. My feelings are hurt. I didn't even bring in my purse because of being profiled and it still happened. DO BETTER

I'm beyond frustrated with Safeway at this point. They consistently give me expired produce and meat, and this is the second time in just one month that I've received expired food. In total, this has happened about 6-7 times over the past year and a half, which is completely unacceptable. Over time I've received: Expired mayonnaise Expired pepperonis Expired poultry Expired bean sprouts that were 4 days past the expiration date, slimy and smelly And now, expired deli meat! Today is 1/28/2026, and the deli meat I received has an expiration date of 1/20/2026 -- over a week past due. This isn't a one-off mistake; it's a pattern. Basic food safety and quality control should not be this hard. Customers should not have to double-check expiration dates every time they shop. I've lost trust in Safeway and will seriously think twice before shopping here again. The only reason I do the curbside is because I get so busy with work and don't have time to shop for groceries after work so curbside is fast and convenient for me. Looks like I'll have to start shipping at Fred Meyer's and Winco since Safeway seems to constantly sell expired food items. I can’t continue to support a store that knowingly does not check their shelves for past due items. How awful!
