Safeway, a subsidiary of Kroger, is an overpriced grocery chain. Unless it's on digital coupon don't bother. Fuel prices are ridiculous so any fuel discounts you get are from buying overpriced groceries and your discount on fuel is still overpriced per gallon compared to others.

I don't understand something, I paid $7.99, but where's the food? In all the Safeway stores in America, there's always three times more food than this!!! What did I pay $7.99 for? I was supposed to get two pieces of chicken, but they gave me a small, pathetic, shriveled piece that might be chicken, and a chicken leg bone!!!!! Doesn't that look like crap?! And there's so little of this crap for eight dollars!!!!! I bought this crap today, November 7th, and the girl who served me this garbage – I can't even call it food, it's really just crap – she was deliberately choosing the worst pieces to give me. She was so stingy, I could see it, she was so reluctant to give me any food. She was doing it so slowly, trying to put as little as possible and choosing the worst pieces. I showed her which piece of meat I wanted, and she only chose from the bad ones. Basically, all the pieces were terrible, but she chose only the absolute worst ones. She gave me burnt bone instead of meat! It looks like some kind of crazy garbage. She had this pile of crap in front of her and she was choosing which piece of crap to give me. This is a disgrace! I don't understand how you dare to charge money for this?!!! And fire that girl, since she's so stingy with the food!
