I normally wouldn’t write a review like this, but this was an awful experience. I was delivering through Uber, and the customer informed me that their order had already been reassigned twice. I was the third driver assigned to pick it up and he had placed it an hour ago. The notes stated to use the call system, which was completely fine, so I drove to the stalls.
I waited over 20 minutes after pressing the button multiple times before someone finally shouted something incoherent at me. When I asked for clarification, I was ignored again.
At that point, I disregarded the notes and went to the drive thru window, where I waited an additional 15 minutes. There was no one in front of me at the ordering speaker. When someone finally responded, they rudely asked, “What do you want?” I politely began explaining that I was there to pick up an order I had been waiting for, but before I could finish my sentence, I was told there were no orders and that it had already been picked up.
I understand that mix ups can happen, but the customer had clearly not received their order. This entire situation resulted in me wasting 45 minutes to an hour with no assistance or resolution. This means that the person trying to get food. Waited for almost 2 hours on a very simple order of a burger, drink, and sides.
Personally, I have no intention of stepping foot in this place until some substantial changes are made.
