While I value the store’s offerings, I have encountered several challenges that have impacted my shopping satisfaction. The return process can be cumbersome, often involving extended wait times at the customer service desk. On one occasion, I was informed that I would need to return the following day to speak with the appropriate manager, which proved quite frustrating. Although Safeway promotes a 7-day freshness guarantee, accessing this policy has been more difficult than anticipated. It would be beneficial if management delegated responsibilities more effectively, particularly given the advance knowledge of employee schedules. Additionally, for customers preferring to pay with cash, the self-checkout kiosks no longer accept this payment method, resulting in long queues—sometimes with as many as nine individuals—at the staffed registers. Furthermore, not all self-checkout stations are equipped with handheld scanners, which are essential for assisting individuals with disabilities or those shopping with children for added convenience. I have also frequently encountered expired dairy products on the shelves, which diminishes the overall quality assurance. I hope this feedback can contribute to improvements in store operations and customer service. Thank you for your attention to these matters.

They always have great produce and my family loves their fried chicken. There's always plenty of parking available. And if you haven't already signed up to be a rewards member I suggest you do so because it totally pays to be a rewards member. Great savings and they even give you a $5 birthday gift/coupon to use 1 time during your b-day month ($5 off of any purchase of $5 or more excluding certain things like booze, tobacco, lighters,etc...) and they always have awesome digital coupon deals EVERY MONTH😀 I GIVE A SOLID 👍🏽👍🏽! Keep up the good work Safeway!!
