I was shopping at 38fh Safeway and found it to be a great experience. I started shopping there in 1985. You know it’s kind of funny that there is a middle area for certain things where you have to use the cashier in there before you continue shopping. Why I don’t know but it’s fine The feminine products are placed along a wide row near the meat I felt too exposed but I guess there isn’t any reason to feel embarrassed but I did. I started to grab a new product but a man walked by and I stopped and then walked away. Kinda dumb but ya know it is what it is felt Love the seafood area and produce section anyhow Thanks for letting me add my opinion to such a HUGE corporation like yours

The store director plays favorites with the employees. Let's see some examples she had me sign a paper for calling out witch I hardly ever do I lost all my sick. Then I gave my two weeks did full two weeks she new about it and didn't do anything for it like every one else she made me pay so I can get my checks so I I gave three envelopes each one had two stamps on it and I only received two envelopes. But she did party's up stairs and give more pay to and hours to certain employees.

I've lived by this Safeway for 5 years now. The decline in quality has been steady, and now rapidly falling. They made all the aisles smaller to add a secured section in the center that now doesn't check people out anymore. Now the store is poorly organized and arraged for what? Security? They lock up ice cream.... You have to page someone....and wait for them....to unlock...ice cream. Then when you get the ice cream home, it's crystalized and bad tasting because the freezer is too cold because it never opens up... The prices are absolutely ridiculous. A bag and a half of groceries is easily over $100. I'll continue to drive a short distance to get to Winco where I can get 7 bags of groceries for a little over $100, nothing is unnecessarily locked up, and the people running the store seem to care about giving a good customer experience. Why is it that Winco doesn't need to check receipts? Kroger stores aren't worth bothering with anymore. Close this one like Fred Meyer and make room for a store that cares about providing a good customer experience. For what it's worth, I've never had a bad interaction with the staff. All of my issues are with leadership of the store and likely Kroger as well. 11/13 EDIT: The response is to submit the feedback again on the Safeway website.... That same tone deafness is the same reason the store is in the state it's in. I said my piece. I'm done shopping here.

Safeway & Albertson is our favorite places to shop for groceries. Always a clean place to shop but things are getting super expensive these days.
