- CWCarl WilliamsJan 4, 20262.0On January 1st, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. I went into Safeway to get a money order. A lady of Asian descent was at the counter waiting on a customer. After she finished with him and he walked away I stepped up and she walked off to the side, with slightly obscured my view of her but I was able to notice what she was doing. She began to fiddle with a large Ziploc bag, then walked away and went into the little office, adjacent to the counter and began to fiddle around some more. And as I stood there waiting, a slightly tall Caucasian lady came up and was so kind and asked me had I been helped. I said no, I told her that the lady clearly saw me and walked away. Just then the Asian woman came back out and said "oh I thought you were with the other guy that was in front of you" and I said no, I wasn't, but you didn't bother to ask have I been helped or did I need anything. She really couldn't say anything then. I believe it was racism. She saw that I was black and refused to help me, with the host that I would walk away, or that she could just ignore until someone else came to my assistance, so she could get her racism workout for the day. I should have called for a manager on the spot. Either that or she was judging me because the guy in front of me looked a little disheveled like he may have been homeless or even on drugs, not that I'm suggesting that because I don't know that man but it sounds like she's that type of person, better yet both. Someone needs to have a chat with her about being professional and helping people of ALL COLOR. Because little does she know, and I mean that literally, though she's of another race, she has that brown skin for a reason, obviously she doesn't know how.

- DKD KDec 14, 20253.0I use your pickup and go quite regularly about once a week and there are constantly people parked in the pickup and go spots. Can you please start enforcing this. I'm going to stop using your pickup and go and just start using delivery if I have to fight for parking space every single time I come up here. There's people parked in the pickup and go that are clearly not in their vehicles waiting for a pickup and go. If you're going to have reserve space and you're going to offer pick up and go somebody needs to be monitoring this and ask people to move that shouldn't be parked here.
