  Extremely understaffed, seems like by choice. Meat department closed at 6PM for a break, no one else, including the general manager could help in the employees absence. General Manger said she doesn’t know the meat department scales & such. The ice cream is now locked up & you’ll wait about 10 minutes for staff to assist. Self check out keeps malfunctioning & wouldn’t process payment but no help was in site. Everytime I come to this store (about every two weeks) there are more and more problems. Absolutely no customer service skills. Do better Safeway & start by training you staff!

  It's Safeway! The least creepy grocery store there is.. thanks Safeway... For being safe and minimizing creepiness amongst your customers and employees..

  I like Safeway don't know whatvthe fuss is about, everything is freaking expensive, that it's why you gotta get a safe number and buy the onsale stuff or if tech savvy download the app and save more money! It's a great storetbh, you just gotta browse around, sometimes youfind off brand(safeway select) stuff that will save you twive the price of main brand, oh and also there is section for meat that's half off because they couldn't sell it that day, so simply cook it that night or freeze it! Great store in my opinion less hectic then Walmart!!!

  I buy cheap chicken about once a month. I've always enjoyed it . This Monday I bought some. The chicken tasted, like it was cooked in very old oil. It left a terrible after taste. I feel the oi should be changed more often..

  Went to self checkout 3/14/26 around 1:20 pm. I was scanning my food while wearing headphones. I noticed the employees watching me, which is fine. However, a manager got sent over to assist me. I had not asked nor wanted assistance with scanning the rest of my products including my dog food on the second row of my cart. I asked the manager why this was happening and she just said "sorry" while continuing to scan my products. She slapped the sticker on my dog food to verify it had been purchased. I asked her if she may please explain the policies of the store to better understand why this was happening. The manager just said "sorry" and left my items dumped in the bagging area. I've been a loyal shopper of this safeway/albertsons for 5 years. I have had negative experiences with the employees of this location for all 5 of those years. I've noticed it's only the people that have been working there for those 5 years of me shopping there. Please let your customers feel comfortable shopping at this store.
