  I went there late in the evening after work to buy frozen lunch meals. They didn't have the kind that my kids like. I decided to go back in the morning I found the shelf looked the exact same. They obviously don't have overnight crews to restock the freezer section. On my way out I got some cheap fried chicken drumsticks and thighs they were so small and dry.

  Clean store, friendly staff and well stocked too. I found everything I was shopping for in my Doordash app without having to substitute. Also it's cool to have hand baskets, been to many stores without them. They offer convenience.

  This is just my job, reduce your expectations about my customer service, if you don't like it...go somewhere else. Attitude not quote. I asked about Safeway's website pricing, she knows nothing about the website in which she works, she doesn't use it, and has no concern about my concerns on pricing for in person and online. I actually do very little shopping at Safeway because of their sale manipulation gotta watch it and the receipt carefully. I don't mind that she doesn't care, but please change the job title of Customer Service y'all giving the real professionals a bad name.

  I've discovered items to be twice as much as other grocery stores. For instance, I can get a 3 lb. Bag of frozen blueberries for ten bucks from a different grocery store and with Safeway, they have a 4lb bag for 20 bucks.

  They got a new computer system and it keeps messing up so we had to use a different line and start over which was fine. I had a split purchase of WIC items and 1 cash item. The total didn't match what I had gotten so i asked for an itemized summary of the total. A lady named Jen, who I assume was the front end manager, started itemizing as I was telling her what i had double checked on my wic app. She had a horrible attitude with me from the start.... So I asked to purchase just the WIC approved items and thats it. The cashier Christy rung up everything again and told me to slide my card. I proceeded, punched in my pin and she said you have a good day now. Yes, I said they were being rude and had no reason to be as I walked out when suddenly Jen comes running out saying i didnt finalize my purchase and shes gonna call the police if I dont want that in front of my kids I need to come back inside as i had my daughter on my hip and 6 yr old on my side..... i said um I'm not stealing anything. The computer system cleared my purchase on my side and the lady made it seem like it was OK for me to leave so i did. I was just done with the altercation altogether so i set the purchase on the curb, said my piece and left. I had no issues with waiting for the computer system, changing check outs or anything..... but apparently they just had attitudes. Of course all the women in the front end , Christy,Jen and the customer service lady, are all buddy buddy so it is what it is but they really should check their attitudes before interacting with people. Jen was hostile, pushy and asserted dominance and power when not necessary. My child cried due to the interaction and I was dismissed like it was all my fault.
