IMO the Safeway on 57th is the best grocery store in Spokane. The employees are very friendly and helpful. It is worth the extra drive past 3 other grocery stores.

Honestly this sucks to write but I’ve dealt with this to much lately. I started noticing the expiration dates on some of the products are already expired. The first time I noticed was a bottle of lemon juice which thus get it’s not a big seller and I really wouldn’t think it had one . Then it was little things like cans of soups and vegetables. The icing on the cake was my wife bakes and she uses milk of course. I came home from opened the fridge and was blasted by a sour smell. She was out of tow so I called to ask when she bought it cause it wasn’t opened. Which by this time I already opened them and dumped them out . She told she just bought them at the beginning of the week they were a month over expired. Again I get certain products but milk come on . It’s going to be hard to shop here anymore.

One of the cleanest, most reliably stocked stores I’ve shopped in. Produce is always fresh and properly rotated, I also get the best prices on produce here. Marty in self check is quick to help and polite. Staff are very helpful when there are out of stock items or coupon issues.
