Safeway has become a terrible place to shop, and this store included. Very irritating to be forced to used the self-checkouts, only to need help and have to wait for ALL THREE employees available to finish their obviously non-work related conversation each time and slowly walk over to help you. Prices are ridiculous, the quality of all their deli and prepared food has drastically declined, and no shopping baskets for convenience. I received a gift card from Safeway and it’s the only reason I came in — I will never shop at Safeway again.

It's my neighborhood Safeway but I wasn't impressed with the employees their. They were very rude and judgy. This is not what customer service looks like in my opinion but what do I know. I've worked in customer service my whole life. Lol The store was well stocked but what was online was not even available on the shelves even though it said it was. I'll shop their probably just out of convenience. Also employees were not clean cut or manicured or presentable for public appeal. Tighten it up Safeway Gm just a suggestion.

And I quote” we change oil here every few days and it’s ran very heavily on mondays so it will give off kind of a Smokey taste” duuuuuuuuude smoky is not the word. How about the taste of oil and metal combined. Clean your damn oil change it regularly. I should report it. The meat and skin both taste like an oily piece of steel. . I told the guy about the taste and he said “that’s not good… thanks”
