I was extremely disappointed with my experience at Clinkerdagger. The service was mediocre at best. We received very little attention throughout the meal, yet somehow the most attentiveness came at the very end when it was time to pay the bill. That felt telling.
The food was just as underwhelming. My steak was overcooked, and several items arrived cold. The Caesar salad tasted like it came straight out of a bag, nothing fresh or house-made about it. To top it off, the crème brûlée was both cold and slightly sour (likely due to being made too many days ahead of time), completely ruining dessert.
If you’re going to participate in Inlander Restaurant Week, don’t bother unless you plan to positively represent your restaurant. Customers are spending their time and money expecting a great experience, not a disappointing one. Overall, the quality did not match the price or reputation. I’ve had better food on a plane.
Went for the Inlander Restaurant Week.. was IMMENSELY disappointed.. Salad was wet and like it was straight out of a bag. Salmon was seasoned well but cold, potatoes were cold and thick. And the Creme Brulee tasted sour?? Like it had been sitting in the freezer all week. I get its a high volume event. But the food might has well have come straight out of a microwave.

The service was good and seemed like a nice place but my food was subpar and definitely not even close to worth the price. Surf and turf claims an 8 ounce sirloin but at best it was 5 ounces and was decent but overcooked. Only comes with 3 sad tough shrimp and the asparagus was tough and stringy without the white bases trimmed off. Over all was a major disappointment in food quantity and quality for the price.
The first girl you see when you walk in to get your table shouldn’t have a job there. She was rude and acted bothered to have to do her job. Food was okay, waitress was great. I won’t be back because of the girl upfront and the massive lack of parking.
I recommend if you can get it a view of the Spokane river while dining is simply the best date night experience hands down !!! If you’re bringing the family the same concept with the WOW factor of the view - then the food is good just make sure you call ahead and make sure they have what you want guaranteed in stock !!!!! Drinks are fabulous here , anything you order from their drink menu or happy hour is sure to please , I have been going here for over 25 years , very good spot !!
