We’ve visited Twigs locations many times, especially in Downtown Spokane, and usually really enjoy both the food and the hospitality. Unfortunately, our experience at the Spokane Valley location was completely different. The food itself was great — the signature burger was juicy and delicious, and the fish tacos were excellent. The place feels a bit worn with older tables, but it was clean, and that wasn’t a problem. What really ruined the visit was the service. Our server acted as if helping us was a burden. No friendliness, no warmth, just a constant sense of irritation. We asked in advance for our burger to be cut in half, she didn’t write it down, forgot, and simply brought us a knife saying we could cut it ourselves. On top of that, she was coughing, seemed unwell, and was serving without a mask, which felt disrespectful and inconsiderate. What made it worse is that we clearly saw her being cheerful, smiling, and attentive with other nearby guests, while with us the attitude was completely different. It left us feeling unwelcome and disappointed to the point that we didn’t even feel comfortable leaving a tip. We ended up going somewhere else for dessert just to shake off the experience. Great food, but extremely poor service. Unfortunately, we won’t be returning to the Spokane Valley location.

On the 28th of December, my husband & I had a delicious meal enhanced by our server Patrick. He was eager to please, professional, friendly, the service was quick (& yummy!) - exceeded our expectations. We will be back!

I am writing this review about our server, Patrick. We had a delicious lunch on Friday and what made it even better was the exceptional service by Patrick. Personable, knowledgeable, and attentive. A+, Patrick!

I have been here several times for lunch but never dinner. Until tonight, we had a party of four when we dined. One member of our party’s food was wrong. She tried to eat it but just couldn’t. So she sent it back. She came by about 5 minutes later to let us know it would be out “in 5 minutes”….15 more minutes went by, she did not receive her food until the rest of us had finished eating. When it came she asked for it to go. When she mentioned being disappointed the server, Neveah, responded with “What’s wrong with that?” She then told us that the manager had come to our table and we told her we didn’t want to talk to her, we wanted our server. The only person that had come to the table was the person who brought the food the second time and she didn’t say a word to us a out being the manager. Apparently she was. It came time to pay the bill & neither took responsibility or supported the customer. Afterward, we walked past them to use the restroom and they were loudly complaining. I have never been treated this way. Overall, the experience lacked accountability and customer care makes it unlikely we will ever return.

So many different food options I will have to go there a few more times to experience the full menu. We stopped in for dinner after making it to town and then for lunch the day after once we finished exploring the mall down the road. Staff were friendly during both visits and service was prompt as we were only a table of 2 and the place wasn't too full when we ate.
