So here's more proof that customer service and taking care of people is gone. I went to this,my most local store on Thursday 01/14 after working an 11 hour day and went to the deli for something to eat for dinner. I got a work call in the middle after ordering a lb of Chicken Tenders,I didn't notice the guy behind gave me a lb of Potato Wedges. Being distracted I paid for everything and drove home around 10 miles. I got home and opened it to eat and realized they gave me Potato Wedges. I had also got Potato Salad so at least I had that and only that for dinner. The next day 1/15 I had to grab something after another long day and found myself at my local grocery store again. I went to the Deli to mention it to the guy who gave me the wrong stuff but he wasn't working, instead the polite gentleman who was working said I should say something to Mell, a nice lady who I see there regularly. I didn't want or ask for any kind of compensation just wanted to mention it. She walked me to the Deli and said "give this nice man a lb of Tenders" I told her "I'm not asking for that, I only wanted to tell the guy who gave me the wrong item, because I come here all the time".She said to me that she new I was a frequent shopper and "No we are going to take care of you".This made me feel pretty good about shopping there, all the time and thinking "what great staff here". After grabbing a couple things I went to pay and noticed they just gave me a pound of Chicken Tenders still charging me for them. I thought well maybe it's for inventory sake and they will take them off, since I didn't really want them in the first place. I asked the other lady who was working the self checkout about it and she was completely rude saying I'm not going to give you that for free, like I was trying to scam them or something? I told her the whole thing and she asked "where are the Joe Joes"? I then explained" it was yesterday I threw them away" .She got even more irritated and said "you ate them". At this point I was floored after thinking such great thoughts she ruined all of that. I told her I didn't ask for the Joe Joe's so she said "Fine I'll only charge you half". By this time I was kinda shocked and said "I didn't even want them". She then in a really rude way said "Fine, I'll take them off your order" took them off and in a condescending way said "There all Done" and walked off to take them back to, I assume put them back in the deli case. I honestly couldn't believe what just happened and left confused and upset by how I was treated. I wasn't even going to say anything in the first place about getting the wrong item and then to be treated like this is ridiculous. I will be going across the street to shop at Haigens from now on. Rude people like that don't belong in customer service and she literally ruined a store I go to at least 5 times a week. Sorry one less customer you will have Safeway in Snohomish
