I’m not familiar with the area so, I figured driving south, there should be one on the way. Alas! Walked in expecting the usual artist performance, and instead? Got a delightful truth bomb served on Italian herbs and honesty. The new owner isn’t just running a sandwich shop, he’s running a one-person TED Talk in mustard and mayo. Straight up told me, Listen, I don’t have tomatoes but I have these, [points to everything else sans tomatoes]. I told him, it’s okay. I wanted a Subway’s under new management, and baby, it shows. We’re no longer just eatin’ fresh — we’re gettin’ served, sasswich style. THANK YOU ADITYA!!
