Locking up basic necessities claiming that they are high theft objects. Ridiculous that I have to go to a counter to describe the toothpaste I want instead of just grabbing it myself.

Tired of coming into this Safeway location and being treated "less than" for wanting to pay via cash. Also, sick and tired of Safeway, as a whole, not honoring their own digital coupons, which I an FORCED to download and use via their app. Thereby, taking 3-5x longer to check out. Winco, Town & Country are all FAR SUPERIOR check out and employee interactions.

Friendly staff, but their self checkout doesn’t take cash. Super annoying.

Please check your receipt before leaving the store. The last two shopping trips here the advertised price in the store was lower than what the items rang up as on the register. Example - today 12/12/2025 the store signage shows heirloom tomatoes are $4.99/pound but rang up at $5.99/pound. If this continues to happen, I will be making a formal consumer complaint with the Washington State Attorney General's Office for this location, and would encourage others to do the same if they experience this bait-and-switch with prices.
