  Wayward Vegan Cafe is a comfort food paradise. Massive menu, all-day breakfast (say less), and enough options to make decision-making slightly stressful, in a good way. Friendly staff sealed the deal. I’ll 100% be back.

  I love Wayward Vegans’ in-person service — the food and staff are great. Unfortunately, delivery has been inconsistent. This is the third time items were missing from my order. They also recently updated their online menu system, which now offers fewer options for communicating dietary needs, making the restaurant less accessible for those with dietary restrictions. I’d definitely recommend dining in, but suggest skipping delivery entirely.

  I came for the vegan Reuben, and it did not disappoint. The portion was generous enough that I was able to take half home for another meal. Once I was attended to, the service was very good. However, I did wait over 10 minutes during a not-so-busy time before anyone came by. I was killing time waiting reading a newspaper, so I was ready to order, and I almost left. I also tried calling twice ahead of time to check on a menu item but wasn’t able to get through. I know Wayward’s shift from vegetarian/vegan to a mixed menu has been disappointing for some longtime customers. That said, they still offer a separate and generous vegan menu, which I really appreciate. I’m glad to have this option available and would come back again.

  Used to like coming here. But need to bring awareness that they are not vegan anymore. It still shows up on google for some reason as vegan. Ironic for new owners to buy a vegan reastraunt then make it not vegan, especially when it was voted as number 1 in Seattle. Like it's one thing when a traditional café adds vegan options, but it is another thing for a VEGAN reastraunt to switch to being called a "cafe" and adding meat. This is just disrespectful to the original creators and you should just change the name completely.

  I really wanted to like this place based on the reviews, but my visit was a huge letdown. The food was a major disappointment. The dishes were bland and lacked any real flavor, as if no seasoning was used at all. To make matters worse, some items that were supposed to be hot (like fries) arrived lukewarm and soggy. It honestly felt like the food had been sitting under a heat lamp for too long.
