This restaurant really surprised me! The staff were extremely welcoming right off of the bat and explained the menu very well. We had a lot of questions as we are not familiar with Lebanese food. Walked us through what is best on their menu and gave good recommendations. Food came out hot and very quickly, even with the place being busy. All of our food was delicious, especially the lamb/beef meat. Portions are huge, I had a full meal left over basically for the next day. Only negative I have is the hummus was a little bland in comparison to others I had before. I should’ve ordered the spicy hummus. Other than that very much recommend!

This was my first time trying Tanoor. The service was good, polite and helpful. I ordered baba ganoush, shish tawook, and batata harra (which was supposed to come as a combo with the shish tawook). Oddly, the baba ganoush and batata harra were served first, and the chicken arrived much later after quite a long wait. I assumed the delay was because I had requested the chicken to be well done, but unfortunately it wasn’t. The cut also seemed off and had a lot of fat. I was very hungry, so I ate the baba ganoush, batata harra, and the bread they provided, but I couldn’t eat much of the chicken as it wasn’t what I’m used to. I eat Middle Eastern food often, and sadly this is not a place I would recommend or return to. Sorry!

Service needs better management. The hostess glared at us when we walked in, the server took his time coming around and he completely upsold us on the tea. He said the tea comes in a pot so how many glasses did we want, he did not say that each glass was another $6! Two of us already had iced tea but we said ok to glasses bc he made it seem like it was just about sharing a portion. The booth seat was uncomfortable. The food was fine, falafel a bit dry. We will not be back.

I went to Tanoor with my family and when we got there, we waited for about 20 minutes just to be seated. When we finally did sit down, we ordered, got our appetizers and 10 minutes later our entrees came. I got the Dajaj Mishweh. From the outside it looks completely cooked despite it being burned but when I cut into it, the chicken was raw and undercooked. I couldn't eat it because I didn't want to get salmonella. My stomach already started hurting at this point. It was very disappointing when I told our waiter, Alex, instead of apologizing for the chicken being undercooked he said " that happens when the chicken is coming up to temperature" I don't think so, I know how to cook chicken and what I saw was pink and that means Salmonella. The waiters at this restaurant need to start taking their customer complaints seriously because getting Salmonella is not a joke. This happens Every time I order this dish. I don't know what's going on, either the chicken is burned to a crisp or is raw inside. I don't think the person in the kitchen knows how to properly cook chicken, but they should learn how before they get everyone sick that orders that dish.

Really disappointing experience at Tanoor Seattle. The host told us the wait would be about 5 minutes, but we ended up waiting closer to 20 minutes. When we were finally seated, the table was still dirty and hadn’t been cleaned, which was not a great start. Service didn’t improve after that. Our waiter didn’t bring us water until I specifically asked for it, and then our drinks came out wrong. Overall, it felt like we were constantly having to ask for basic things instead of the service being attentive. Considering the prices, the whole experience felt like a rip off. Between the long wait, dirty table, and poor service, it just wasn’t worth it.
