Everything is Overpriced! Make sure you get any discounts that are advertised. Half of the items I purchased were on sale but when I scanned and paid, no discount was applied. Thankfully the manager corrected it.

Lots of homeless people hanging around outside as well as in the parking garage where the cars are. There's a good-looking security guard by the door 🙂

Good god, this place is too depressing. Every time I go, there are more security measures. You can only use one entrance, one is permanently locked, they have Security guards in full gear of questionable quality, pacing the door way when you come in.. Some sit there on their phones, others seem a little too into it. Sure they redid their self check, but only to add more self check, and cameras, not more staff. More cameras and screens covering the whole store. Every time I go, more things are locked up. Booze, then ice cream, now makeup is locked up. You can use your phone to get in?? I don’t know but I’m not about to hook my phone up to it. All this digital coupon business, why can’t you just get the coupon price? They have free internet, which isn’t safe, & takes forever so is useless. The city needs to do something, too. Who wants to shop in this run down, advanced police state situation. Always helpless unhoused folks in front and apparently shoplifting.Seattle can you please do something and help them? Five stars for the regular employees I see working there. They are always kind but often look frazzled as there’s not enough of them and are running around the self check trying to help twenty people, or having to unlock multiple cabinets. Definitely switching my grocery shopping away from this store. People want a clean, easy pleasant experience, Safeway. Not something I have to fully prep for (dig coupons)and plan to do battle when I need to pick up a few things. You’re a giant corporation -use your $ and influence for good on Seattle. Do we need to bring down everyone’s shopping experience?

This store has gone downhill. It sometimes stinks and the prices are really out of whack. It's annoying you have to use coupons for anything otherwise it's very expensive. A lot of the stuff is locked up. And there are a lot of weirdos in there. Not really a safe or pleasant experience and I won't be back
