Visited the restaurant at the Four Seasons Hotel Seattle today. Our server Sarah was kind and attentive, but it was clear she had no power to actually fix issues.
We ordered drinks, wings, burgers, and fries. The wings were overly salty, the fries were extremely salty, and the burgers were sloppy compared to our first visit. Last time the burgers had a nice charcoal flavor and felt properly cooked. This time they felt rushed and messy.
After spending $170+ we decided to mention it to the manager. Unfortunately the response was disappointing. Alex, the manager, simply said he would “let the kitchen know.” No effort to address the situation, no curiosity, no service recovery. It felt like I was filing a report instead of giving feedback as a customer.
For a place charging Four Seasons prices, you expect Four Seasons hospitality. Sarah did what she could, but management completely missed the moment.
Between the food inconsistency, the weak response from management, and the odd layout of the space, I won’t be returning. Overpriced and poorly handled.

Blinded by the sun for an hour before sunset and the "live music" was way too loud. It made holding a conversation at our table nearly impossible.

Disappointing experience at Goldfinch Tavern on March 20, 2026 — specifically due to server Bri's handling of a conflict at our table.
A woman sat directly behind my girlfriend despite having the option to sit on the opposite, unoccupied side of her table. She bumped into my girlfriend's chair twice without acknowledging it or apologizing. When I calmly addressed it, she deflected by claiming she didn't feel anything — which is physically implausible, as force is bidirectional.
Server Bri intervened without any context of what had happened. Rather than acting as a neutral party, she immediately sided with the other guest. She offered to move that guest's table; when the guest declined, Bri turned to us — the ones who had been there first and had done nothing to initiate the situation — and repeatedly pressured us to be the ones to move. When we pointed out that we were not the instigators, her response was: "because you feel bothered, you should be the ones to change." She then threatened us with removal if we continued to explain our side.
To add to this, we waited over 30 minutes for our food while the other guest received hers within 10 minutes.
We never raised our voices. We asked only to be treated fairly. The bias in how Bri handled this situation — defaulting to us as the problem without hearing the full story — was deeply troubling and felt discriminatory.
For what it's worth, the concierge team was genuinely warm and professional. But one team member with this kind of approach can undermine everything the rest of the staff works hard to build.

Goldfinch Tavern at the Four Seasons Seattle made my best friend’s farewell dinner feel truly special from start to finish. Every member of the hotel and restaurant staff was incredibly warm, attentive, and genuinely kind, which meant so much to us that night. They went above and beyond to make sure everything felt smooth, comfortable, and memorable without ever being overwhelming. The atmosphere, paired with their thoughtful service, created the perfect setting for such an emotional and meaningful evening. It’s a place I’ll always remember not just for the food, but for how sincerely they cared about our experience

Stoped by for a beer and a dessert, the place is under remodel not and issue, the dessert was good, beer cold but the problem was the service fee at the end that cost me pretty much the same as what I ordered, plus i left $20+ tip, I had no problem paying for it but maybe let your patrons know that they will be ripped off with this crazy charge, I come here often but the maybe informed about crazy hidden charges, really a downer.
