Adore this place but what is up with the ungodly amount of mayonnaise yall put on the burgers. Will be ordering that on the side from now on. All love.

Cute brunch place with excellent food and exceptional service. I tried the chilaqueles and fried artichoke. The chilaqueles were a little soggy but the food was delicious overall

If you are a dedicated vegan who favors fresh, healthful foods over processed and loves bold flavors, this is absolutely NOT the place for you.
We went to this restaurant because it was so highly rated, and, even though the service was awesome, that is where the positives end. The appetizer was decent— not terrible, not great, but okay. The entree, on the other hand, was literally the worst vegan meal I have ever had. I couldn’t take more than two bites. My partner tried their best to force their way through it but ended up a little “green around the gills.” The staff and hostess were so nice and we didn’t want to insult them but the entrees were that BAD.
The food quality was awful, everything was incredibly processed. The “chiggen” was a weird color with a terrible aftertaste. The potatoes seemed boxed, the fries tasted frozen, and the lettuce was iceberg. In addition to all of this, the food just didn’t taste all that great. It actually upset our stomachs and had us up sick for most of the night.
The overwhelmingly positive reviews feel so bizarre, because these were not things that would be a “one off” from a bad night. It is literally due to the subpar quality of the food at the restaurant. That being said, the negative reviews about the food, as few and far between as they may be, are, unfortunately, very accurate.
So, if you prefer healthy, unprocessed, flavorful vegan food, Wayward Vegan would be a 0/10. Definitely would not recommend!
