Iiked this Safeway location but the only thing that was whack about it was the guys come rushing through before you get to the sink there is this old guy running in to take a huge dump so then had to leave store. It's better to get a portable toilet at least I don't ever have to deal with that again.

Had a horrible experience, these people belittled me and talk to me crazy about me just trying to find the minced garlic Even the manager didn’t take the time to go walk over there and show me properly after his staff verbally assaulted me At that point, I just wanted to push my cart to the front and walk out

I’ve noticed that a staff member has addressed me as “honey” on more than one occasion. While some may consider this casual, it came across as unprofessional and made the interaction uncomfortable.
A more neutral tone would help create a respectful shopping environment.

I’m leaving this review because I believe store culture matters. I’ve observed a staff member in a supervisory role publicly yelling at customers and using language that felt inappropriate and culturally insensitive.
Regardless of the situation, customers deserve to be treated with dignity. I hope this location reflects on how staff communication impacts the community and works toward maintaining a respectful shopping environment.

While the prices are affordable, the added inconveniences lately are pretty annoying. The ice cream is locked up, so you need to call for assistance to grab a pint you may want. According to the note on the fridge, they will then hold it at customer service until you check out. I'm not going through all of that, so I've made it a point not to shop here if it can be helped.
Last time I was here, which was last night (a Friday night at 6), they had ONE full service checkout lane open. I had a cart FILLED with groceries, and I had to either wait for the guy with a cart full of two instacart orders to be rung up, or use the self-checkout. Used the self-checkout, and bagging became a problem due to available space and the scale involved.
When all was said and done, I paid $250 for a week's groceries and wound up needing to order dinner when I got home because shopping here took so much out of me.
I'm just going to pay a little more and go to the nicer store a block north, or go down to the other competitors a few blocks south.
I doubt they'll be open much longer, judging by how empty it was for what should be a busy night.
