Honestly, I was truly surprised at how bad the service was last night. I have worked in the food industry for 15+ years. I was so excited and looking forward to getting great service at a fancy restaurant…. Boy was I wrong! I went in with a group of 10 to celebrate a 70th birthday. The server didn’t even say hello, how are you doing or nothing. Didn’t drop the food off or check to see if we were enjoying ourselves, didn’t know food was missing on the table, the list could go on. Have empty beers glasses and wasn’t asked for a re-fill… had to ask for water. Had to hand plates to the busser “who asked me to hand them to him”. This is almost comical. Spent 600 dollars and I get better service at any local mom and pop restaurant in the city that charges 10 dollars for a plate. I will never go back to this place again. My wife and I are still shocked at how bad the service was. Svegi was my server. Awful. Next time if we are spending over 50 dollars a plate, it would be nice, if the server wouldn’t throw the desert spoons on the table and hope that they don’t fall to the ground. Shockingly bad service. The food was mid also. Save your money and go somewhere better where you will be treated like you are actually wanted there… this place was garbage. Didn’t even wish the birthday person a happy birthday… Crazy! Auto gratuity of 18% server made 90 bucks the bare minimum way. Shame on this establishment! Trash!

So far so good! Been here twice for special occasions with my wife and it’s been great every time. We aren’t country club kind of people which is kind of the echelon of clientele — that said the staff is so friendly, welcoming and accommodating. Hosts remembered us on the way out which was 👌the servers have always been top notch and down to earth. The view is incredible! Last but not least: the food is awesome. We’ve had the sea bass/lobster risotto, walnut apple salad, halibut, prime rib, crème brûlée, clam chowder, Dungeness dip, asparagus, and probably half a dozen or more of their cocktails AND EVERYTHING SLAPS. Will be back!

Oh man, where to start? Went with my family for an 5pm early NYE dinner. Won’t ever return. We overheard the floor manager tell the wait staff that they needed to turn tables quickly bc they had so many reservations and it definitely came through in our experience. A few examples - -our waiter forgot bread service. We didn’t realize until we got our mains and at that point decided to just forgo when it was offered. -the prime rib was overcooked, dry and lukewarm. The sea bass was cold. -our bill came before we were even finished with our meal -a pile of trash was sitting at our table the majority of the meal -waiter wasn’t friendly and seemed like he didn’t want to be there, but in his defense, it doesn’t sound like he was set up for success based on what we had overheard. My husband and I were able to find the humor of it and had ourselves a giggle, but could not in good faith recommend this place to anyone based on our experience. YIKES

I took my family out to dinner here on the last night of our trip (5 people). It was supposed to be a nice rounding out to the jam-packed few days we were in Seattle. We had been going back and forth between Salty's and Palisade. Originally Salty's was the go to but due to a couple family members not enjoying seafood we went to Palisade for the larger selection. The appetizers were wonderful, loved the octopus, the shrimp cocktail was delicious and the lobster bisque was just butter. That unfortunately is when we should've left. We ordered our food and appetizers at the same time. Some 20-30 minutes after the apps showed up, the waiter came and told us that the sirloin for the surf and turf was no longer available. I was surprised it took so long to notify us, now we were going to be waiting for 2 new dishes to be made, let alone they would have to order a different steak and then add a side to still get the surf and turf. Finally 1 nba quarter later we received our food. The prime rib was unfortunate, it had a tasty crust but it was cold, the mashed potatoes were thick and burning in the center but cold outside making me believe they were microwaved and the asparagus heads were the only edible part because they were not cooked through. I thought, maybe its our fault for ordering prime rib at a seafood place, then I tasted the crab stuffed shrimps. There was a pervasive taste of cat food that lingered in my mouth, I think they crab had been sitting for too long and then it was crunchy like they had seared it and thrown it in the shrimp. At that point it was time to go, we had to wait for our waiter who kept disappearing into the kitchen even though he only had a few tables while the pipe pouring water into the pond blasted our ears. Finally we were able to leave. I don't mind spending money on a good meal for my family, but knowing what I know now I would've patronized any of the other places we ate sat over the trip 10 times over before going to Palisade. I sincerely hope the owners or chef take a look at what they're serving and decide to put the slightest bit of care into any of it.

We went to celebrate our anniversary at this place and I just have to say that it was so disappointing, our server barely check on us. There was no service at all. Unfortunately, at the end of the meal we had to wait 15 to 20 minutes just to get our check to leave. Our drinks were not refilled without asking apparently he could not see that they were empty. This is supposed to be a very upscale high end Restaurant, but what we got was mid tier Applebee’s, Olive Garden, And red lobster service. I’ve been here before, and it was much better, unfortunately tonight being a special night we really wanted it to be great and have a great experience, but unfortunately, we did not. I don’t know if I would recommend them or not, but I can tell you our experience was not great.
