Had the opportunity to dine in here for Valentine's Day with my wife who was also pregnant. Our first time dining here and the ambiance was fantastic. We were put into a room for what seemed to be all Valentine's Day couples, separating us from the rest of the crowd with forward facing seats. I love the thought and the idea behind it but i immediate thought of a fancy classroom with a sunset view. Not the best choice in this seating arrangement. Our food from start to end was great and I was suspicious about some of the foods that were offered from the reviews. Great restaurants not only have a great ambiance and great service and it all comes together with great food. Unfortunately 1 dish fell short of a 5 star rating and the follow up service with this just wasn't what were expected. This restaurant made the decision for us tonight that moving forward, we never order Steak again from a seafood restaurant. They obviously cannot make a steak cooked well done and instead was Medium Rare. which was especially for my wife who again, is pregnant. Keeping in mind the kind of date it was, Valentines and I could have picked anywhere to eat In King, Snohomish or Pierce County. When sending this steak back to the kitchen and sharing our concerns, we were commented with a smile and "I'll throw it on the stove a bit longer." Not the comment I expected when on a very special day you expected a dish to be right the first time. I expected empathy and an apology but seemed almost annoyed my wife was asking for her dish to be cooked the way she originally ordered it... doesn't seem like a hard ask. Now, the second time it came out, steak was cooked Medium with some spots of pink. I was going to speak up but my wife stopped me, not to ruin the night. If you can't make a steak, just don't offer it on your menu period. If you can't cook it the way it was ordered, just say something. Show empathy and apologize, and do what is right by the customer who again, could have gone anywhere else. I don't see myself, my wife or my future child coming to this spot again in the foreseeable future but, anything is possible.
Fantastic waterfront restaurant. Vibe is very classy and chill. Incredible views of Elliott Bay, Seattle and Mt. Rainier. A great menu option if the lobster bisque and the sake marinated black cod. Great drinks and a large wine selection.

Really paying for the looks. Our server came up to us for only essentials. Not asking how our night was. Not asking whose birthday it was (having to ask during cake?). Service just didn’t feel as luxurious as this place looks (and costs.) My group is younger but there’s no reason not to give personable service. Our server, or any staff, didn’t check on us once during our meal and we had to calculate and split our own bill? Isn’t that the servers job? Can’t your computers do that? I am sure she is great but we didn’t get any personality chit chat or anything other than our orders taken dropped off (or handed over or on top of plates). Mind you, we were the only people sat in our section and often saw staff standing around doing nothing. WATERY lobster mac and cheese, DRY beechers mac, at least the sauce under the $20 small crab and avocado rolls was delicious. Multiple people at our table left still hungry and everyone upset at the lack of fine dining service, I mean can one of you standing around polish a knife or two?????. Severely dissatisfied, disappointed, and won’t be coming back.

We LOVE our new favorite Seattle seafood restaurant. Located at the Elliot Bay Marina, their amazing food, drinks, view, ambience, and service is impeccable. Every time we visit Seattle, it’s a definite destination.
Palisades Happy Hour is unique and sumptuous. Andy has been our awesome bartender/server, at the bar, on several occasions. He is always friendly, accommodating, and professional and makes yummy libations.
Because of Danait, our server, and her expertise knowledge of their menu, she suggested the most delectable items, so on spot, that we returned the very next day. From salads to entrees, Danait’s recommendation are all swoon-worthy. She is also one of the most pleasant, effective and professional servers I’ve ever experienced. Though every server has been so delightful, we do ask for her, by name, when we visit. As a former restaurant manager and server, I see she is a most delightful asset to this establishment.
Travis, the manager, is graciously receptive and promotive of his staff. Of the many times we have frequented Pallisade, Travis is always busy being a hands-on manager in assisting his staff and patrons, and whatever else is needed. His energy is central to the inviting climate he and his staff create.
Though only once, I met Keith, also a manager, he was very receptive and accomodating.
I, also thank Celeste, Will. Alena, Leon, Marcus, Justin, and Ash for being so lovely to us and OMG, the food prep staff and chefs, gastronomical! They all make our experience so special.
We discovered this treasure after vacationing in California. At another awesome restaurant, Kincaids where the kind manager suggested we purchase a Landry card. The purchase is automatically reimbursed upon your next Landry-managed restaurant throughout America. Each time the card is applied to the restaurant bill, when there are enough points, it offers quite a decent discount.
Thank you Palisade!
I spent my birthday at Palisade today and had such a wonderful experience. From the moment we walked in, everything felt thoughtful and welcoming.
Heather, the manager, personally walked us to our table and had it decorated with birthday confetti, which immediately made me feel celebrated. Our server, Nash, was amazing. He surprised me with a slice of birthday cake and a mango spritzer on the house, which was such a kind and unexpected touch.
The views of the Seattle skyline are beautiful and really add to the overall experience. The food was great. I ordered the shrimp bucatini and loved it. For the quality of the food, service, and setting, the prices felt very reasonable.
Heather also offered to take photos of us and clearly knew what she was doing. It was such a small thing, but it really made the night feel extra special.
Overall, I had an incredible birthday at Palisade and left feeling very taken care of. I’ll definitely be back and would highly recommend it for a special occasion or just a great meal.
