More sports bar than British pub, but the Scotch egg and sausage roll appetizers were brilliant. The haddock and chips was fantastic; ask for the special horseradish tartar sauce. It comes with one piece of fish, but it was at least 8 ounces.
Only rate atmosphere 3 because there were too many TVs for a restaurant: it zombifies everyone.

Happy this place was open as we arrived late from a flight and lots of places were closed. The food was so good - loved the chicken pot pie! Gluten free burger buns were excellent. Service was very good - friendly and attentive. Would definitely go back.

2 years, been coming here for at least 3 nights a week.
Hear me now.
This big weird hole in the ground under some hotel. Fantastic. Sinking my money into this hole and I'll do it again. Love this place. If anything happens to it, it's just one more reason to burn this city into the ground. Seen some stuff that would make Queen Victoria slap the crap out of Margaret Thatcher, and the staff swoop in and absolutely manage it.
Large unexpected group? Grit and grace. Admirable. Serving rugged charm one day and another day serving slay.
How would I describe the food and booze? Yes.
Sports. Malort. Old fashioned? More like bold fashioned. Glorious.
With all the conventions that happen nearby, it's like people watching at an airport sometimes. If the Mos Eisley Cantina actually gave a hoot and also really liked Churchill trivia for some weird reason.
Gravy.
Malort. 24 beers on tap.
