I spent over $120 on myself at Christmas since there's not a lot of places open in Seattle for the holiday. I am typically supportive of wait staff because it's a tough job and good service should be rewarded, but it seemed that this wait staff knew nothing about service etiquette. I was served everything I ordered at once and not by course. I asked questions about the menu offerings and most of my questions had to be asked by walking away. My drink was removed before I finished it. I was served the same course offering twice. And the dinner presentation was so lackluster and boring! Hollandaise was watery. The Oscar crab was not very fresh. The oysters were tiny. The dessert was mediocre. I guess that's what you get from a chain restaurant from Landry's (Houston, TX). At least the location and views were excellent.

We came for lunch on Saturday, visiting with family. We were told at 1pm they had seating right then and there for us. The hostess came out 30 minutes later to tell us "it was almost ready." We almost left. We were not seated until 1:45pm, which is ridiculous. When we were seated, we were seated at two different tables, and we told them we were together. We didn't get WATER until 2pm, and then they took our order all at once, and our table ended up being served an entire 25 minutes before our other table. They said they had to "ring them in separately" even though we ordered at the exact same time and said we wanted to be served together. We were repeatedly having to ask for bread, which they never gave to our other table, and we had to ask for more and more bread, and give it to our other table. Entrees were fine, but the wait and the lack of service was terrible. They kept seating people even though we hadn't been served. "Lunch" took us almost 3 hours. Grandma had to ask for the manager. Ridiculous. Will never bother again.

So we booked on Christmas Day and we’re thankful that they were open. But we did not know or were told that it was a holiday menu and the options for food were severely limited. On top of that by the time we ordered (~7p) several items on that limited menu had run out. On top of that, the food was just ok for a highly overvalued price. The service (trying to be mindful that it was Christmas) was rushed and robotic. Would not go back…

A pretty view and that’s it. Our server forgot our drinks twice waiting 20 minutes for a refill. Another table came in after us and was served before us. The menu online was not the same menu in house. The meal was not appetizing, mashed potatoes were dry. appetizer and entrée had no taste. I layered on salt and pepper. Crab stuffed mahi-mahi was nonexistent of crab, no burre blanc making the meal dry tasteless and un appealing.

This was my second time visiting this restaurant while in Seattle. My first experience was great, but this time was completely different. As many reviews mention, the service was unpleasant right from the start with the host, and unfortunately my server wasn’t any better.
I was served a plate of mussels that tasted spoiled, and since bad seafood can be dangerous, I let my server know. I rarely complain, but I wasn’t about to risk getting sick on my trip. She took the plate with an annoyed attitude, didn’t apologize, and didn’t acknowledge the issue at all—which felt concerning, especially when it comes to something as serious as serving expired seafood.
I later asked for the check, and she sighed and responded as if I was bothering her. When I went to the register to pay, I assumed the mussels would still be on the bill, but thankfully they were removed. She mentioned she was planning to “fix the situation,” but honestly, a simple apology and taking the dish back respectfully would have been enough.
A manager then came over and said she’s their best server, and I replied, “Not based on my experience.” Overall, it was an unpleasant visit—especially after a seven-hour flight. I immediately paid and left.
