I started a Group Order for Holidays lunch from Westlake, Seattle Chipotle. After the group members submitted their items, I, as the host, was unable to finalize the order and submit it for payment. The Technical Issue: I had the unique Group Order link and was logged into my Chipotle account (the same one used to start the order). However, the website and the mobile app failed to recognize me as the "host," preventing me from accessing the final checkout page. The Impact & Failed Resolution Attempts: This error led to a complete inability to submit a large-value order, wasting significant time for myself and my entire group. I attempted to resolve this by: Switching browsers and devices (App/Website). Calling the Westlake, Seattle Chipotle location phone number, where I was met with an unhelpful IVR system that blocked me from speaking to a manager or staff member who could check for the order in their queue. This is a critical flaw in the Group Order feature that needs urgent technical attention. The local staff should also have an accessible phone number for resolving time-sensitive order issues. I was forced to change the plans to another caterer instead.
