  We went there on a whim and glad we did. We got seated immediately on a Saturday morning around 11. The waitress Nikki was super patient with us as we were quite confused on what to get. We ended up getting the French toast, scrambled eggs, red jacket spicy potatoes, toast, coffee and chocolate milk. Everything was spot on. The food arrived quick and everything was piping hot. The eggs were perfectly scrambled. The highlight was the spicy potatoes and the French toast. The French toast was so good we came back on Sunday to have another round with some pancakes and the eggs Benedict. Overall it was a 10/10 experience. Super friendly staff, great atmosphere (Bustling) and yet the food was the star of the show. Will go back!

  The Five Spot is back and better than ever! After being closed for a few years, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but wow, they came back swinging. The food is absolutely delicious and still has that classic neighborhood-staple charm that made everyone fall in love with it in the first place. Our server, Delmer, rolled out the red carpet for us and made us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. The service overall feels even better than before… genuine, attentive, and full of that welcoming energy you hope for in a favorite local spot. And the pancakes? Sent. From. Heaven. Fluffy, rich, perfectly cooked, truly some of the best I’ve ever had. So happy to see The Five Spot thriving again. This place is a gem and I’m thrilled it’s part of the neighborhood once more!

  The place was packed but i was sitting almost immediately! The food was perfect from start to finish. Even though the place was packed. Servers came by frequently to check on us. They noticed that i needed a refill of water before I realized i needed more water! They often cleared our table of plates we were no longer using to make room. So, even though the table wasnt the biggest. However, with them constantly clearing out table. It always felt like we had plenty of room. Oh and we got our food within 10 to 15 mins of ordering. Definitely coming back

  Second time coming to the 5 Spot Cafe. The food is wonderful, the staff exceptional, wait times are minimal to none. Atmosphere is great, even if you’re a bit sensory sensitive, never felt overloaded. You will leave full. Our server Nicki was fantastic. A great way to start a Saturday morning if you need a break and some good grub. Will be coming back. Highly recommend the Farmhouse Scramble and the French Toast.

  We came in on a Friday night and the restaurant was empty. There was one guy seating people, working as a server and bussing tables. Shortly after we sat down about 10-15 parties came into the restaurant. The one guy, Sergio was on the hustle and provided an awesome experience despite being a one man show. We left an extra tip for him! Other than that the food came out quickly and it tasted great as always!
