  such a great restaurant! the atmosphere and food were amazing; i got the butter chicken and it was delicious. above everything, truly amazing service. Ivan was so personable and just such a joy to have as a waiter! it probably goes without saying at this point, but elephant and castle is definitely making it onto my short list of restaurants in seattle for when i’m in the area.

  I stopped by Elephant & Castle for a casual meal and it felt like a lively British-style pub right in the middle of downtown Seattle. The space is spacious, a bit noisy, and very social, with lots of TVs and a strong after-work crowd vibe. I ordered a classic pub dish and a beer, and the food was hearty and straightforward—nothing fancy, but satisfying and comforting. Service was friendly and efficient even when busy. It’s more of a place for drinks, sports, and hanging out than a quiet dinner. Overall, it’s a solid go-to if you want a relaxed pub atmosphere with decent comfort food in the city.

  I had a fantastic experience at Elephant & Castle Pub and Restaurant, and a big part of that was thanks to our waiter, JB. From the moment we were seated, JB was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. He struck the perfect balance between being professional and personable, making sure we felt comfortable without ever being overbearing. JB was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and gave great recommendations that we ended up loving. He checked in at just the right times, kept our drinks topped up, and made sure everything came out exactly as we wanted. It’s clear he really cares about providing excellent service and creating a great experience for his guests. Overall, JB went above and beyond to make our visit memorable. If you’re dining here, I highly recommend asking for him—you won’t be disappointed!

  The dinner at Elephant & Castle was highlighted by perfectly crispy fish and chips and a standout bread pudding that lived up to the hype. The server, Ricardo, was excellent and consistently attentive, ensuring the meal proceeded smoothly without being intrusive. The only downside was the high noise level in the dining room, which made conversation a bit of a challenge at times. Despite the loud atmosphere, the high quality of the food and the top-tier service made for a great experience that is well worth a repeat visit.

  We came to Elephant & Castle Pub for the food, but honestly stayed for Wil. From the start, he was hilarious, quick-witted, and totally kept up with our nonstop banter (which is no small task). It felt less like being served and more like being part of a stand-up routine… except with great food and drinks involved. He somehow managed to be super attentive while also roasting us just the right amount—truly a talent. On top of that, his recommendations were spot on, and he made sure we had everything we needed without ever making it feel formal or stiff. Just good vibes all around. And for the record… after all the back-and-forth, we still stand by the fact that the San Francisco 49ers are better than the Seattle Seahawks… Wil may disagree, but we’ll let him slide this time 😄 If you go, ask for Wil—but be prepared… he might out-funny you and call you out in the best way 😂
