Solid happy hour and casual hang-out spot with good happy hour deals on both food and drinks, a sizeable spread of classic American food, and a large space that manages to capture a wide range of ambiances. I love how different the vibes are between the darker left side, which is the perfect home for the ping pong and shuffleboard tables, and the wide open space on the right, which features plenty of natural light from the floor-to-ceiling windows.
I primarily come to Art Marble for large group events, which it’s perfect for — there’s plenty of space, it’s a pretty convenient location, the staff knows how to handle large parties and long orders, and the vibes are great. A solid SLU pick for a big happy hour.

Wish I could've tried the arcade spots at this bar, but pretty much ended up with the happy hour food.
Compared to most happy hour spots, it's on the upscale side, with some pretty interesting menu items. I ended up mostly having the carne asada fries,
coconut prawns, garlic bread, and pork nachos. Of course, we had a pitcher of beer as well
I'll start with the carne asada fries. The meat on these was surprisingly good - I was expecting flank steak that's on the chewier end, but it was actually grilled well and not dry at all. There was also a ton of meat that came along with the fries. The cheddar cheese was also pretty good. While the fries were not my favorite as they were pretty soft and soggy, the guac and sour cream on top resulted in a really good mixture when everything was combined
The prawns were also good. There was a nice crunch to the outside from the light breading. I did think the meat was pretty rubbery though
The garlic bread had a good topping, but there was a lack of crispiness to the bottom that makes the best garlic breads good. It was mostly just soft.
Overall, I think this does serve a pretty good elevation over traditional happy hour food. The portion sizes are pretty nice as well. 7.5/10

Huge thank you to Art Marble for an incredible staff party! The food and the space were wonderful, but we were most impressed by the staff. Lexie was a dream to collaborate with; she was so helpful and made sure everything ran smoothly from start to finish. Lexie and Misha were both so kind and attentive during our event, making the whole experience easy and fun for our team. We had a fantastic time and would book with them again in a heartbeat!

What is Art Marble 21?
Our restaurant has a story that started in 1921. That’s when a company known as Art Marble opened, selling high-end granite and stone to customers in the Pacific Northwest. We occupy the same building as the original company, and we have preserved it to honor that legacy. It’s been 100 years, and we are proud to occupy one of South Lake Union’s longest-standing buildings, complete with its original name!
