The reason I am giving 3 stars is because of main course only. We ordered kofta curry, dal makhni and chicken lababfaar which were very good. But other than that the appetizer are very average or below average. Beetroot kabab and malai chicken were okish. Prices are soo expensive compared to portion size. Malai chicken was 22$ with just 4 pieces of chicken. Malai kofta was also around 25 with just 3 pieces of kofta!!
The environment of the restaurent is very suffocating because of their interior and how it is designed. The tables are across kitchen. So it’s very suffocating because of kitchen so near and tables so near to each other.

If you’re looking for a place that truly elevates Indian cuisine with a modern twist, Aamrai absolutely delivers.
The new menu is nothing short of exceptional—every dish feels thoughtfully crafted, bursting with bold yet balanced flavors. The veg entrées are a standout, rich, vibrant, and far from the usual predictable options. Each bite feels layered and refined, making it clear that a lot of creativity has gone into the menu revamp.
The cocktails deserve special mention—easily among the best you’ll find. The mango sharbhat cocktail is an absolute must-try: refreshing, unique, and perfectly executed.
What’s even better is that both veg and non-veg options shine equally, making it a great spot no matter your preference.
The ambience is top-notch—warm, aesthetic, and elevated without feeling overdone. It strikes that perfect balance between upscale and inviting.
And to end on a high note, their sitaphal rabadi is one-of-a-kind—creamy, indulgent, and unforgettable.
⭐ Overall: Aamrai is not just a meal, it’s an experience.
Definitely a must-visit if you appreciate great food, craft cocktails, and beautiful ambience.
We had a fantastic experience at Aamrai. The food was absolutely delicious—every dish felt thoughtfully prepared and full of flavor. The dal makhani was a standout, rich and comforting, and easily one of the best we’ve had. Even our little one was happy, especially with the aloo paratha, which was perfectly cooked and kid-approved.
The service was warm, attentive, and made us feel welcome throughout. While the space is a bit cramped, it still works well for families and adds to the overall charm. Definitely a place we’d come back to when craving authentic, satisfying Indian food.

I recently visited Aamrai Indian Restaurant and had a great experience. The food was flavorful and well-prepared, with a nice balance of spices.
The beetroot kabab was a standout—crispy on the outside and soft inside, with a unique and delicious taste. The railway goat curry was rich and comforting, with tender meat and a well-developed gravy that really captured traditional flavors. The veg Maratha was equally impressive, packed with flavor and cooked just right.
Overall, a very satisfying meal. I’d definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for authentic and tasty Indian food in Seattle.
Been 3 times, and food and service varies drastically even with same servers and same dishes. First time was an amazing experience for both food and service, second visit was average, last visit was bad.
All in my group got sick after one visit. Not surprised, as saw the bartender using palm of their hand to rim drinks (without hand washing!) as well as most of their dishes are topped with microgreens/sprouts.
Price point is high for portions and area, and after first visit I thought it was worth it but with following visits and lack of consistency it is not.
Servers were more attentive when there was a man with us than when not, and one even walked away from me mid sentence as a man at another table asked for water.
