    We met here to discuss a bridal shower. The food was great, the atmosphere was perfect, and we stayed and got everything together.

    They don’t change their gloves after handling money. I was in the drive thru, gave cash for my food, and the girl in the window kept her same gloves on after handling my cash and went to cutting French bread. Gross.

    I placed an order via the Panera app. When I hit the submit button there seemed to be a problem with the app. It didn’t place the order, yet it deducted the money from my credit card. I drove to the Richland restaurant, spoke to the manager about the situation and I was told that there was nothing they could do. They offered to make my order if I was willing to make the purchase again right there in the restaurant. Unfortunately this same situation had happened before when I was trying to purchase from the Kennewick restaurant. The manager at the Kennewick restaurant pulled up my account with Panera to see my order history and had no problem making the situation right by fulfilling my order. So I didn’t hesitate to try ordering from the app again. This manager at the Richland restaurant told me the app is a corporate app and it’s not anything to do with his restaurant . That I needed to dispute the charge with my bank. As someone who has worked as a restaurant manager before. I have never not taken responsibility for any mistakes that the company website or an employee made. The order was less than $10. The money is not the issue, the issue is customer service and just human decency. I expected more and I’m very disappointed in the moral compass of the management of this establishment. Richland Panera you need to do better.
