Incident date/time: January 23rd, around 6:00 PM
Unfortunately, this was not a good experience. I visit this location every Friday after work to start my weekend and usually order 2–3 Unwiches, typically spending around $30-$40.
This time, my total came out to $15, which immediately felt off. At handoff, I asked if I had only been rung up for one Unwich. The employee (young blonde male, early 20s) responded with confusion: “Oh. You wanted two? Wait, you wanted a Unwich?” He then hesitated and claimed they were “out of that.”
The second sandwich maker visibly looked confused, as it was clear this was a blatant lie that he wasn’t in on. I think he may have been the supervisor (skater looking guy). I didn’t understand, they just made me a sandwich with the exact same ingredients minus the bread.
I’m leaving this review because being lied to is the single most frustrating part of any customer experience, especially as a regular customer. Sounds weird - but I actually look forward to coming here every Friday. It marks the beginning of the weekend after a long week.
Because of this, I drove to the Burien Jimmy John’s afterward and had a great experience. Despite it being close to closing time, their staff had no issue putting together multiple Unwiches and were friendly and professional.
Highly recommend the Burien location instead:
