I just bought two malts on the app to pick up in the drive thru and the young lady at the window not only gave me a disgusted look on her face when I requested straws and whipped cream, but told me "whip is extra." I didn't want to cause a problem in the drive thru so I left unhappy with an unfinished product and boy am I upset. The app clearly describes a malt as, "Milk, creamy DQ® vanilla soft serve and malt powder hand-blended into a classic DQ® malt until it's velvety thick and delicious and garnished with a swirl of WHIPPED TOPPING." NO WHERE does it say whip costs extra. Perhaps on a blizzard, but on a malt or shake? It's a given. The employees need to be trained how to better communicate with less of an attitude for something so small as whip or a straw. Or at the very least: if an employee is having a rough day, don't make them be customer-facing.
