- GGGennx6 days ago1.0I came to pick up an Uber Eats order and waited about 20 minutes while the staff only prepared food for in-person customers and ignored pickup orders. When I politely asked about the order, the staff member was very rude and said she would make it only after finishing in-person orders. I explained that Uber drivers are not paid to wait and that Uber sends us after giving restaurants enough prep time. Her response was: My restaurant, my rules. I don’t care about Uber. I don’t want to make it. Get out from my restaurant This was extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. The order was only $5, I waited 20 minutes without pay, and in the end I was kicked out. I am a college student and have been doing delivery part-time for two years, and this is the first time I’ve experienced something like this. Treating people this way is not acceptable. Drivers are working people too, and we deserve respect.
