  I started buying their izzio San francisco-style sourdough bread a year ago and it was great good size loaves good quality tasted good everything was great. Then about 4 months ago it all started coming in smashed one side of the bread was fine the other side is smashed. They have different flavors of this bread Italian potato bread like I said different flavors but the San Francisco style is the only one that's getting smashed for whatever reason. I have brought this to their attention multiple times. I've even called The bread manufacturer themselves and no one seems to care. I've talked to several managers of this store and they don't seem to care it goes in one ear and out the other. I'm not going to pay $6.49 for a smashed loaf of bread. You guys have now lost my business, I will shop elsewhere.

  I went there 04/02/2026 and I had to get a money order from customer service, 4 different employees had said "someone is at customer service" and yet I waited for 20 mins and no one acknowledged me or said anything, so I called the store while INSIDE, the store, and had said " ive been at customer service for 20 mons and no one is here to help" so after 5 mins after I called the store someone FINALLY showed up, and yet still ignored me( there were 2 other customers besides my self) the employee went up to the other customer, luckily that person said i was first! The employee who helped me was rude, didnt ask what I needed just stared at me, making side comments to the other 3 employees that had showed up to "help" This was the worst experience I have ever had at this store! I get society and everything is messed up right now but treat people like they are human not trash! Also I boycott this store and have told friends and family about it! #sorrynotsorry 🤬🤷‍♀️😬🙄

  Old , small Safeway, limited selection, understaffed with a lot of attitude. I will drive to Shaw road location 100% of the time. Downtown Puyallup would be better served with another convenience store at this point.Maria needs training or a new job.

  On the smaller side of Safeway's, but they do make up for it with excellent customer service every time I've ever been there. Still a good selection of items for every day grocery needs. Glad they've stayed open even if there is a new one on Shaw Rd.

  Monday 3/16/26 went in for cheap chicken Monday at 1:15 pm. No chicken in the deli heater, none in the fryer, and the person in charge of cooking it was nowhere to be found. NOT GOOD. All of my other experiences here have been positive.
