They always have such amazing deals its hard not to get distracted. I like how they put the seasonals stuff on sale before the holiday not just after. So Easter stuff is already on sale. My son loves the blueberries and raspberries from there. They had the little oranges on sale so my dad was happy. Was a win for all. Always appreciated and now we can shop till 1am that amazing 🤩😇🙏

They also have their toiletries and medicine and some other things in a separate section you have to pay to leave it. I've shopped here for years because it's convenient but those two additions are fairly recent and it's too much for me. Icky tactics to get every last penny from people already struggling to make their dollars stretch. I'll drive farther now to get away from their AI grossness.

- DCDavid CrossMar 7, 20261.0It is time to change where I shop for groceries. I have used this particular Safeway for about thirty years. I am a frequent purchaser of the Acai bowls. They say they are made in house and fresh. Generally they are good but are really inconsistent. I get moldy blueberries and there was one bowl with two strawberries. I tried to talk to a member of the produce staff but was brushed off and told it was probably a homeless person... Really??? The last straw for me is the self checkout. They push you to participate by having very few checkers actually working. Now they don't except cash at the self checkouts. I complained today and was told it wasn't her problem and it is all stores because of the penny. That is a lie, I have been in other stores that do not have this rule. There is no excuse for the employee or the store. I will take my business elsewhere.
