But I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. We ordered the 4pc chicken finger combo and 3pc(breast/legs) combo with all of the sides. Of course I had to try them all. Next time I’ll get the Jojo’s and try the chicken sandwich cause I didn’t get to try those. ALL of the sides are top notch. I love me some Mac n Cheese and for being a chicken shop they do it right. Much better than KFCs Mac n cheese. Their beans and rice is delicious as well and I’d say better than Popeyes. The jambalaya was so good I wish I could have a bigger plate. Haha. And the mashed potatoes and gravy was on point as well. The biscuits were kind of old and dry but that’s expected cause it’s bread sitting in the warmer. But if I wasn’t pressed for time they would have made me fresh biscuits. The chicken was fire. Super crunchy even though it wasn’t super fresh. But the fact that the chicken was still great even not being cray out of the fryer says a lot. I was super happy with the quality of the food and the price point is pretty solid as well. Another great addition to our little 44th plaza so I’m sure I’ll be eating plenty of this place. If you’re in the hungry and in area check them out. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed! Haha. I would have taken pics but we devoured it so fast 🤣
