Last night I stopped in just before midnight-thirty when they should have been open, unfortunately they “closed early” sometime before 12:25am to wax the floors. That was frustrating, but it was just followed up with arriving to buy a 12 pack of monster zero ultra (the white ones). The distributor just happened to be there as I was on my hands and knees pulling one of the last two from the very back of the bottom shelf. I was mentioning to him that more than half the time when I come to buy them that they are out. I felt lucky that they had two left at 12:39 pm (just after lunch). A manager, “Christina” (older petite woman with black hair in a pony tail) happened to overhear the exchange and insert herself. The distributor brought up an additional display, Christina’s response was “yeah, that’s too bad, that’s as big as the shelf is”, anyway, on to other issues. I wasn’t very impressed with the response. It absolutely shows poor courtesy towards customers, not to mention a lack of critical thinking for an organizational leader. Safeway, you could do better….
