I don’t know if this is a normal interaction, but I haven’t been this put off from a business in a while. I ask for service from the sandwich bar to whom the worker did not look once to and I had to get her attention and get told “give me 15 minutes and I can help you, otherwise you can get food over there” and turns around. I don’t have 15 minutes to wait, I was hoping as a customer I would be a priority. Secondly the hot food you pointed out to was freezing cold.
Overall, in my day this is small stuff, but as first impressions go it’s not great. I went somewhere else to give them my money, and I now know I won’t be going to this Safeway again. Poor service, poor attitude. Off putting to say the least.

If I could give Zero stars I would. I have been shopping here for 8 years now, weekly, and the absolute disrespect from these employees is shameful. Shame on these employees as shame on whoever keeps these people employed.

Begging at this point for y’all to start making more salmon poke bowls, there’s always a ton of sushi left and never any salmon poke. It’s the main reason I came here before and at one point you guys just stopped making them unless I’m lucky and get there when someone nice is working the sushi counter and is willing to make me one upon request.

There's a deli woker (female a bit plump and with glasses) that is always so rude to my teenage niece. She's been snappy to her or just out right ignores her when she is there to order something. It's gotten to the point where I'll drive to the safeway in town to go to the deli, which is way out of my way.
