  Great Location. Comfortable rooms. Very clean. Easy self-check-in. The lobby was nicely decorated. A Lite continental breakfast was offered which was plenty for us.

  The fireside inn is a $100.00 a night motel. You get what you pay for. The check in was a nightmare over 30 minutes from arrival to when we got into the room. When we arrived that evening we were confronted with the front door being locked and a QR code on the door to do a self check in we followed the QR and had a terrible time trying to do the self check in. We went over to the saloon where we were met with one employee and 6 patrons and waited 10 minutes for the employee to even acknowledge us. Then we received our paperwork filled it out quickly were given code to the lobby and room. We then grabbed our luggage and went to the lobby door where we attempted to put in the code only for it not to work. Went back to the saloon for assistance the employee had maintenance meet us over at the lobby found out the key pad for that door was not working and finally made it in after maintenance went through side door and let us in. The beds in the room were very uncomfortable and we both had trouble sleeping in them. they both were filled with lumps and dips in the mattress. The doors to the room don’t automatically lock when you leave like a normal hotel door you have to lock the bottom lock on the door as you go out or type the code to lock the door on the outside for it to lock which is unclear and not written out on the door. The continental breakfast was simply cereal with no milk to be found, bagel and cream cheese, yogurt, fruit, and coffee. Water was stale tasting. The room was clean. If you stay here just know the reviews that give it a 4.3 is a little generous.

  Note : I cannot speak for the Inn portion of this place. The saloon, however, was terrible. The owner took our order, and seemed like he didn’t know the menu or if they could accommodate a simple request such as adding or removing an ingredient from a sandwich. My husband and I came here with another couple. We ordered directly after our friends and after an hour wait, we still received our food 20-30 minutes after our friends had ordered. COLD. Even after receiving our food, none of the requests we had for our order (simple sauce additions to a few sandwiches) were followed. Needless to say, we will be dining elsewhere next time we are in Long Beach.

  Best place to land , with your dog, during a storm on Thanksgiving night. Lovely gals running hotel & Bar and fun locals made us feel welcome on a blisters holiday nite Thank you for your kind service

  I don't normally leave reviews but I had to for this place because they saved my birthday. Incredibly kind, professional, and accommodating staff. The room was super cute and comfortable. Best dog friendly place I've ever stayed. Great location and even though it's just right off the main road, it was still reasonably quiet. I highly recommend this place. Oh and the Saloon was cute too and had good food.
