I work in LL so I stop by this Safeway when I need cold cuts. Aside from the fact that the salads are disgusting looking (macaroni should not be in the tray when it's yellow) I liked getting Boar's Head which is no longer available. I stopped by today to get some cold cuts that are there and was completely ignored. The woman behind the counter was working on some order but didn't even look at me, and I was the only one there. Normally I would at least expect someone to say be with you in a few minutes. This person gave nothing. I realize good help is hard to find, especially in delis, but c'mon. So after five minutes I left and will never return. Safeway's in general are not the nicest stores out there. Yokes is head and heels above any Safeway in Spokane. Some of the ones in town are seriously disgusting. This store in probably the best of the bunch but it would not pass the smell test if it were another, better chain. Needless to say I now have no reason to ever go in there. Bye Safeway.

It is insane that is easier to get teeth pulled than to get overpayment returned. I spend thousands a year at Safeway, I use coupons and I regularly check my receipt. Every dollar matters when grocery shopping in this economy & the way markdowns & coupons make it more likely to be overcharged is ridiculous, but I jump through your time waster hoops of clipping online coupons, etc. I even pointed out the markdowns at the time of checkout & despite their best effort, which it was; I was still over charged. Then you are annoyed that it takes me a couple weeks to inconvenience myself to come in after work to follow up is peak irony. You couldn't even figure out the sales while I was there the first time, you won't find them this time, including the department that marked them down! I'd say do better, but who am I kidding?! You could not have cared less. So neither do I and I will not be returning to this particular Safeway. Oh, well.

Rude checker! Just kept saying payment payment payment! I said I’m not stealing the food. lol😊 Very pampous, snooty, and rude employees here. I said I might not come back after her comments and she says “that’s fine” apparently I’m not important there. Bad experience!

I really don’t like giving bad reviews because I understand people have bad days so I totally get it. But this has been such a consistent thing when I come to this store. My favorite sandwich is sold at the Safeway deli. I was on my lunch break and decided to get one so I went to the deli and asked if I could order a sandwich. Immediately the person rolls their eyes and huff and puffs the whole time. Someone in line behind me and the person shakes their head and rolls their eyes again. This happens every single time. I then waited 15 minutes for it to be made and thrown in a bag and then when I went to eat it, it didn’t even have the all ingredients that’s on the menu! It was missing lettuce and tomato. I was disappointed. Idk what it is. Does no one like making the food? If so, don’t even offer it then. I don’t want someone that doesn’t want to make the food, making the food. It makes me feel guilty for even ordering. I almost said nevermind but I was hungry and didn’t have time to go somewhere else.
