  Came in this afternoon with my family group of ten plus my toddler niece. The owner was great about letting us rearrange their tables so we could sit as a group and my god is their food amazing. They are able to continuously check on tables while getting your food out to your in a timely way. Absolutely stellar.

  My wife and I went to the Hot Fish House last night for dinner. The food was amazing. I had their catfish and my wife enjoyed a shrimp po-boy. I moved to WA from Savannah and the catfish took me straight back to Georgia. Service was also excellent. After we got our food the staff checked in with us multiple times despite a steady stream of other customers. Afterward I had a chance to meet the cook and we shared stories about Gullah cooking and his inspirations to start the place. Can’t wait to go back. Next time I hope they have hush puppies.

  Hot Fish House serves up superb catfish and shrimp. My mom, sis and I cant stay away. And before you ask, Yes , they have more deliciousness on the menu to include down home greens, grits fried okra, .po-boys, mac n cheese and more. All good! “Q” ,Hannah and staff are friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is light, the place is clean and joyful! I guarantee you too will come back! #GOODEATS

  You want some good comfort food this is the spot! From the Cajun salmon, Big piece catfish, collard greens, cheesy grits, BBQ wings, banana pudding and peach cobbler we tried… was AMAZING! Flavors were bold and just right. Came out freshly hot. Service was more like having dinner at ya family house. Friendly and fun! And let me not forget the music. It was a vibe. 90s R&B baby!! 🎶 Hands down will be coming back to try the Mac and Cheese, Jambalaya, turkey leg and the shrimp. 10/10 recommend friends! Go down and get you some good fooood 😋

  We came in to celebrate my daughter’s 17th birthday, excited to enjoy some great catfish and support a small Black-owned business. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing. The catfish was paper thin, rubbery, and inedible. The grits were bland and unappetizing. The fried pork chops tasted like they had been cooked in old, dirty oil. The banana pudding also did not taste homemade. After spending over $100 and only managing a couple of bites, we decided to request a refund because the food was simply unacceptable. We returned the food, but the store clerks said they couldn’t process a refund and were unable to reach the owner. Two days later, the owner contacted us and refused to issue a refund. We truly value supporting small Black-owned businesses, but based on this experience, we will not be returning. Save your time and money.
