This is in Lake Forest Park Town Center. It used to be Albertsons but has changed to a Safeway. Its a smaller Safeway & doesnt have everything a larger one does. But is very convenient because there are lots of other stores in the shopping center I frequent as well. Its very hard to find parking here between 3-7pm and on weekends, I believe this is due to Safeway sharing their parking lot with so many other businesses. Also there is a farmers market & Christmas type farmers market that takes over the back half of the parking lot close to the bank.

Terrible experience with the front checkout lady. She is always there at night & I typically have zero issues With her or anything else. Something rang up wrong that I had clipped a coupon for. She said it didn't take it off because I was logged into a different nearby store. So she wanted to show me that if I changed the store the discount would be taken off. I was skeptical & just said that all the other coupons I clicked came off. She took offense to that & said "oh I've been working here for years, so I know how it works." Okay great, but unnecessary & had nothing to do with my situation. Then she tried to show me how to change stores & then clip it, but if I clicked something she didn't like or did a different way (that would have achieved the same result) so she was frustrated & scolded me like I'm a child. Guess what, her way didn't work anyway. She was so condescending to me, i just wanted my coupon taken off.. this was over not even $3. But after she talked down to me so long, I then just asked her please just take the items off, please. I don't want them. I was like near tears. She said she was only trying to help me, but she took them completely off & I told her she was a little aggressive. Which I did use the wrong word. She was really just condescending. So then she tried to make it about her race. That's when I just said it's not even about that, but i gave up with her because it would go nowhere. I have seen her treat other customers this way too. She said everyone knows how she is & nobody complains about her. Yeah, okay. They just don't say anything & never come back. I absolutely won't be back. Funny thing is she has changed over time. She acts like she owns the store now. She wasn't like this before. She was so loud, I could hear her at the back of the store. I think management has let her do what she wants, because she seems to be a good worker (as in she's there, she shows up) so her attitude has gotten worse, because she's unchecked. She needs a course on customer service & learn how to be kind to customers. ***EDIT. If the store manager really cares about the store he or she would be checking reviews. Don't ask me to go to "contact us" this is the contact. Y'all have my email address.

Yeah Safeway. Boo Trump tariffs. Grocery prices are through the roof. $7-$8 for a freaking pint of ice cream. $5 for a loaf of bread, ON SALE. $8-$10 for some beef hotdogs. It's redonkulous
